I think they make all their money from…

I think they make all their money from automatic payments for the first month. I cancelled after two days but they still billed me.

I’ve been using this app to hear an audio book, and I’m very disappointed because there has been like 20 times when there is nothing to hear, it’s MUTE but the audio keeps playing al y I CANT hear anything.

I get all my books' expectations…

I get all my books' expectations satisfied on Scribd. The books and publications are mostly available, even ones that are hard to find.
It is a friendly application to use and I am totally happy using it.

Be aware!

Be aware!
Not only they didn't warn me when my free trial was coming to an end, but also kept charging me twice monthly! I tried to contact them but to no avail. Sad.

So far, so good

So far, so good after 2 months. I really appreciate being able to try a number of audiobooks at one time, instead of only one per month on Audible. However, this month I had to go back to Audible to hear the next instalment of the Master and Commander series I am listening to, because Scribed doesn't have the whole series. I also find it a bit difficult to browse for books as the ones offered on the general page seem limited

I've been a subscriber to Scribd for…two months

I've been a subscriber to Scribd for about 2 months and am very happy with the app. I've listened to over 20 titles and enjoyed each one immensely. The suggestions are really helpful and I've found old favorites from popular authors here too.

Hi I was charged for the free trial - my money was not returned- I cannot use free trial expires soon and it says that I have no card details..

Try visiting their support site, logging in/verifying your email, and checking to see if you're "eligible for a refund". These guys are shady as hell, though, so if you've used your account within the last 30 days they may not offer a refund at all.

I am a member. It is Aug 14th and every book I want to listen to, tells me it is not available until I pay in Sept. How is this unlimited?

Lol Jerry G., you are full of $#*!. Taking access away after 1 or 2 days, deciding after 2 books that a person is a "voracious reader" and taking away access, only offering access on the day of payment and then cutting the access til the next payment date, and on and on and on. Scribd is a SCAM. I cancelled my free membership but I do not trust you bastards because so many people say they are charged for months after they cancelled. I am calling my credit card and telling them to NEVER authorize payment to scribd. I cannot wait for the lawsuits. You people are DEPLORABLE CHEATERS AND THIEVES.

My initial support ticket has not been responded to after 17 days. Why can't you remove my resumes from your site in a timely fashion? Your website says that support tickets are dealt with in just a few days, not weeks.

Scribd has a history of ignoring support tickets. That's how they stole money from me.

I want to cancel my subscription. I thought I was agreeing to a free trial. I have already sent you and email requesting the cancellation and again the money has been deducted. Bad!

Same thing happenned to me. I was on free trial cancelled my subscription yet they have been charging sometimes even twice a month. I want my refund! This is fraud

Worst company ever. Scribd are a scam! I opened a free trial and cancelled that free trial THE VERY SAME DAY, it was all confirmed I had cancelled by scribd. A month later, they have charged me money and ignoring all of my messages! Worst service ever. Listen I want a refund! Support ticket #1314432
